Barcelona ready to negotiate new Marc Bernal deal despite player out for more than 12 months.
The 17-year-old midfielder recently underwent surgery to repair a ruptured cruciate ligament and repair a damaged meniscus, which could sideline him for around 12 months, according to medical staff.
However, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the issue will not affect the Spaniard’s plans to extend his contract, with Barcelona having prepared a new deal with conditions for Bernal.
